4th Quarter Senior Year - You made it!!

How to fight Senioritis

1. Reconnect with Your Goals = remember your "why" 

2. Break Tasks into Manageable Pieces 

3. Practice Positive Habits 

A well-rested, healthy student is more likely to stay focused. Remember to prioritize sleep, regular meals, and physical activity to keep your energy and focus high.

April 2 Senior meeting in New Gym at 8:20AM -will be dismissed by intercom

April 5 National ACT; NEXT National ACT - June 14 (register by May 9 at actstudent.org)                 Fee waivers available - see Mrs. Brock

Crowder College Enrollment Clinic 9:30-11:30AM for all Seniors who will be attending Crowder next Fall (attending this clinic assures you of priority enrollment!)

Tests: EOC 4/22 - 4/25; AP Government (5/6); AP Literature (5/7); AP Calculus Tests (5/12)

April 25 Senior RED folders  returned to Counselor's office before Noon

Baccalaureate May 14 7PM PAC

Awards Ceremony May 16 8:30AM                            REM: Dress code:  school appropriate Business Casual

Commencement May 18 3PM New Gym

Documentation is required for recognition at Senior Awards: include copies in RED folder or send digitally to lbrock@senecar7.com.

Check the website (Counselor's tab) new scholarships have been/will be posted. 

REM: Sr Athletes planning to compete in D1, D2 or NAIA - follow NCAA/NAIA Guidelines for Eligibility (check in with Mrs. Brock).

Neosho/Seneca Lions Club Will Cook Memorial Scholarship Due April 4     at least 1 SHS Senior will receive $500

LaFerla-Wilson Orthodontic Team Scholarship 2025  Due April 5

New-Mac Electric Cooperative Scholarship Due April 11    1 SHS Senior will receive $500

Dr. Clark Scholarship Due April 11   2 SHS Seniors will receive $500

Crowder College Business Scholarship  Due April 11

The Edward M. & Henrietta M. Knabusch ScholarshipDue April 24 

Dependent children and stepchildren of La-Z-Boy Incorporated full-time employees who are graduating seniors and plan to attend college as full-time students are eligible to apply.

 

SUMMER AT CROWDER - use your A+ 

2025 graduates who have completed the A+ program can use their A+ benefits

Summer 2025 at Crowder College. A+ will cover tuition and common fees,

even if the students is not planning to enroll at Crowder this fall. This is the

only time they can use A+ as a transient student (not planning to enroll at Crowder for the

Fall/next semester).

To qualify:

✓ Enroll in a minimum of 6 credit hours for Summer 2025

✓ Complete the 2024/2025 FAFSA

✓ Check online for all qualifications and details
